Christmas finally came!

Well Christmas EVE this year we opened presents at Maw Maw Lisa's house and Grandma Holly's as well - everyone got such nice gifts and we had a great time. Santa even came to our house once the kids went to sleep. Adelyn loved all her great toys, she and her Brother and Sister were pretty good kids this year - Santa at least thought so!! Your never too old for Santa

We took the kids to take a picture with Santa, and Jade even got in the picture! I didn't even have to bribe her! It's so funny the ages of our kids - we have the lovely teenage, the little sweet child - Steven, and then the baby, Adelyn! What a variety huh! These are the most cherished times - we know we will never have this back, so we try and enjoy it all - even the bad times!

Adelyn - 6 Months

We took Adelyn to the Doctor last Friday, she is 17 pounds 12 ounces and 25.5 inches long. She didn't get her shots because she had a UTI and a fever so we are going to go back after the holidays and get her shots. My poor baby, she is currently on her first antibiotic. No problems giving it to her, she thinks it's yum - I must say that I think it wires her up! She is well now and a much happier baby then last Friday. Oh well, I say we got about 6 more days of it and then she is done! Thank goodness :)

Christmas Vacation

Well the kids are off school for 2 weeks, they are enjoying. Even if we do not go any where all day, they are home and don't have school! It's nice for Mom too, I enjoy sleeping in and not having to make lunches or pick them up after school! So it's a vacation for me too. Adelyn seems to enjoy them home too, more excitement during the day and not so much a quiet house. My hubby is home tomorrow and we are going to finish up our shopping - what joy the mall should be huh!

Adelyn's First Christmas 09

Our baby girl is 6 months old, and has graduated to the size 3 diapers, breaks my heart :(
I can't believe how time flies, just last year at this time I was pregnant, and didn't even know I was having a little girl. It's so amazing how time flies and changes day to day. I love being a Mommy - Adelyn is such a great addition to our family, she fits right in - we all love her so much! It's her first Christmas and we are so excited to see her open up presents! I can't wait to see the look in her eyes!
